Winter seems to be in a hurry this year. We have "enjoyed" early morning temperatures in the low to middle 'teens this last week. It seems like the leaves just barely left the trees in the yard and in the orchard. There is a certain majesty and beauty in the mountains in their mantle of white, but there is a shiver factor there, too. Be sure to double click on the pictures to see all of the glory that is on the mountains and in the sky.

Brrr! Dig out the wool. The mountains are beautiful. Thank you for the reminder to enlarge the pictures. Sometimes I forget that.
What a beautiful spot you have to call home. It must make you smile to be warm and cozy inside and look out at the beautiful scenery. Keep warm!
Hope this one gets to you! I wrote a beautiful rave about your pictures and am so sorry it didn't come through for everyone to see. Oh well, just as long as you know how beautiful I think these pictures and all your pictures are. You do need to make a book, justadd that to your list of creative things to do. Anyway these made my week!
