Cranesbill Geranium

Aren't they beautiful? I fell prey a few years ago to a mailer that touted the different perennial geraniums as being very hardy. Of the original 10 plants, I have four left, but they are finally thriving. Worth the wait, but I do mourn for the ones that didn't make it. I am learning, however, to resist the temptation of the incredible deals and possibilities for my flower beds, and put them in file 13 before I get tempted again. (What looks great in June looks like a whole lot of work in the fall when the plants - bulbs come.) The world is full of possibilities and promises.

The harder to grow, the more rewarding and valuable the flower.
